About GreenGrid India

GreenGrid India is an independent online publication covering India’s renewable energy transition. We launched in July 2026 and publish a new article every Sunday.

India is in the middle of one of the world’s largest clean energy build-outs — record solar and wind additions, a fast-growing storage market, a domestic manufacturing push, and an ambitious green hydrogen mission. Our goal is to make that story easy to follow: short, factual, well-sourced articles on the developments that matter.

What we cover

Solar (utility-scale and rooftop), wind, energy storage, green hydrogen, clean energy manufacturing, and the policy and market landscape — tenders, auctions, budgets and regulation.

Our approach

Every article lists the sources it draws on, including official releases from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), SECI, industry research and reporting by established trade publications. We are a young publication and we’d rather be accurate than first. If you spot an error, please tell us and we’ll correct it promptly.
